Merry Christmas 2016 Zemi Family!

Thank you all for your continued support and dedication.

What a year of growth we've had! Our lesson program has expanded so much we added Jennifer Havens as a beginner instructor. Jen is a student and boarder here at the farm as well as a SUNY Cobleskill graduate. Jen was a student of mine when I was adjunct teaching at Cobleskill.

I have been busy with my lesson schedule and training JuJu. We also had many students showing this year.

A few show highlight were the Cooperstown High Dressage Club competing for the first year at the Dressage 4 Kids Youth Festival. The team placed 4th overall, with all four girls placing individually. Kate Preston and Maggie placed 8th, Emily Dibble and Ludevic placed 4th, Sarah Heneghan and Ambassador placed 3rd and Caroline Whitaker and Bailemos placed 1st!

MacKenzie achieved her USDF First Level Performance award with both Dolly and Z.

This fall we welcomed some new horses to the farm: Deb and I bought a warmblood weanling from Cornell University, he is to be my next competition horse. The farm also received a fantastic new lesson horse from my alma mater SUNY Cobleskill.

Many new horse and rider leases have formed this fall. Some of the girls have moved up to the next level horse while others have started their first lease ever! If anyone is interested in a half lease, Lude is now available. He has show experience and ready to give his next kid the skills and confidence to show and excel!

We've had some new facility updates this year with two sheds being repaired and painted along with the dividing fence lines replaced with safer, more visible fence. The manure pile was leveled for ease and drainage; and the parking lot at the barn was expanded to accommodate parking.

We still have plenty of work to do over time, but the growth of our program and update of the facility is all thanks to you Zemi family! I wouldn't be where I am today without all of you!

The lesson newsletter and dates will be out in February. Keep and eye on the website as well.

We hope you all have a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Love,

Cody, Kyle, Jase Bug, Derek, Ambrose and all the critters at Zemi Farm.
